Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a WISe Youth Peer to provide targeted peer support and collaborate with a wraparound team to deliver services in home and community settings in Spokane. The role requires a credential as a Certified Peer Support Specialist or Trainee, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license for community travel.

The position offers a flexible 24/7 schedule in rotation with other clinical staff, with pay based on credential level and experience.

Qualifications

• Self-identify as an individual who during their childhood and/or experienced emotional and behavioral challenges and engaged in behavioral health services and have been in recovery for one or more years.
• Certified Peer Support Specialist credential from the WA State Department of Health OR Certified Peer Support Specialist Trainee Credential.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license, active car insurance and be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work.
• Two years' experience working in a community behavioral health setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services as part of a multi-disciplinary WISe team to youth and families in home and community settings.
• Develop treatment objectives and interventions for clients seeking mental health services.
• Support families to regain hope, participate in care decisions, and promote recovery.
• Engage with clients and families prior to discharge and assist in transitions back to the community.
• Maintain confidential client records and complete required documentation.
