Job summary

Ampleon is seeking an Engineer, Process in Assembly Engineering to sustain and improve the Midline-Mechanical Back End manufacturing processes in Cabuyao, Philippines. The role ensures stable production, high product quality, and successful implementation of productivity and cost reduction initiatives. It reports to the Sr.

Manager, Assembly Process. You will resolve day-to-day process issues, drive yield improvements, perform risk analyses, update process specs, and collaborate with Production,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Process Engineering experience in Singulation, Molding, Trim and Form, Taping/AOI.
  • Knowledge of Disco package Singulation and Molding.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves day-to-day process engineering issues affecting production.
  • Drives yield improvement, process optimization, and manufacturing robustness.
  • Performs risk analysis/FMEA and ensures adherence to quality standards.
  • Updates assembly process specifications and ensures implementation.
  • Performs root cause analysis and implements corrective actions.
  • Prepares and presents project status updates and technical reports.
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives for yield, cycle time, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborates with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Excellence teams.
