Qualifications

• A t least a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor or optoelectronics with demonstrated experience leading complex yield improvement and defect reduction projects across multiple manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead yield improvement and defect-reduction initiatives across CoC assembly and test processes.
• Analyze production, assembly, test, equipment, and quality data to identify trends, variation, and major yield-loss mechanisms.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 8D, DMAIC, fishbone, fault-tree analyses and DOE with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure yield actions are documented, validated, and sustained through monitoring and ownership.
• Establish yield dashboards, Pareto analyses, and related trend charts and develop standards for yield analysis and data collection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support NPI, product transfer, production ramp-up, and continuous improvement.
