Lausgroup in the Philippines is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee service reception and workshop operations. You will ensure timely repairs, supervise technicians, and coordinate with the Quality Inspector to meet customer concerns and quality standards.

The role requires strong office discipline, customer orientation, and 5-10 years of relevant experience, plus a valid professional driver’s license. A leadership mindset and cost-conscious approach are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the Service Manager.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Ensure repairs are conducted cost-effectively.
• Ensure time clocking is captured on repair orders by technicians.
• Handover repair orders to Quality Inspector after completion for quality check.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides immediate assistance in order to ensures the smooth flow work in the service reception.
2. Oversees all workshop activities and to ensure seamless operations at all times.
3. Recommends to the Service Manager plan of actions to constantly improve workshop operations efficiency and productivity.
4. Prepares and submits daily progress report to the Service Manager.
5. Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
6. Repairs are to be conducted in a cost-effective manner.
7. Ensure Time clocking is captured in the repair order by the Technician repairing the vehicle based on the real time (including clocking off for breaks).
8. After completion of repair, Workshop supervisor will handle handover the Repair order to Quality Inspector to perform quality check and confirm that the customers concerns are addressed and compressed to standards.

Core Competencies

1. Preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer or a Graduate of two-year Automotive Technology or any related course.
2. Knowledgeable in office and administrative procedures and practices.
3. Must be customer-oriented.
4. With 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience.
5. Possesses a valid professional driver’s license.
