Job summary

At Aurecon we are seeking a Workday Specialist to support staff with the administration of our HCM systems, focusing on Workday HCM modules and integrations. You will work closely with Workday Leads and the People team to implement the IT vision and priorities.

Key responsibilities include improving HCM processes, supporting Workday integrations with related systems, and managing change requests and defect resolution to ensure accurate, timely delivery across global projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Workday HCM experience, including at least 2 years hands-on configuration.
• Experience configuring Workday modules such as Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Reporting, and Integrations.
• Strong experience in Workday business process configuration, security, validations, custom objects, and defect resolution.
• Experience supporting Workday integrations and working with ERP systems, ITSM/service management tools, and Shared Services environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Excellent English communication, collaboration and consulting skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Workday certification is an advantage.

What will you do?

As a Workday Specialist you are responsible in providing support to Aurecon Staff with the administration of its HCM Systems with third level technical & functional support. Your role primarily supports the Workday HCM modules and its various integrations to core Aurecon business systems. You will be working closely with the Workday Leads and People team in implementing the IT Vision, Strategy and Priorities.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Continuously seek improvements and simplification by building enhancements and other related changes to help streamline the HCM processes.
• Provide support and troubleshooting on Workday integration patterns to other related HCM Systems – AD, ADGM, Stage, etc.
• Manage service and support requests relating to Workday HCM & Broadbean and to perform system change requests relate d to business process flow and security based on business requirements.
• Execute end-to-end Workday defect management – investigation, testing & implementation and to deliver efficient, accurate, timely system administration services as per agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver efficient and accurate configuration as per the business requirements and strategy and to establish a culture of flexibility and adaptability to varying shift requirements and operation hours in order to fulfil real time business requirements.

Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request. Demonstrated ability to analyse business requirements and deliver solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders to meet deadlines. You will also need the following:

• Minimum 3 years of Workday HCM experience, including at least 2 years of hands‑on configuration and enhancements.
• Experience supporting and configuring Workday modules such as Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Reporting, and Integrations.
• Strong experience in Workday business process configuration, security, validations, custom objects, and defect resolution.
• Experience supporting Workday integrations and working with ERP systems, ITSM/service management tools, and Shared Services environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of HR/People lifecycle processes, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent English communication, collaboration, and consulting skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, accountability, adaptability, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; Workday certification is an advantage.
