Aurecon seeks a Senior Analyst in the Philippines to deliver trusted reporting, analytics and data solutions. You will translate business requirements into scalable reporting, working with stakeholders and delivery teams to enable data-driven decision-making across projects.

Balance data governance with user experience while contributing to continuous improvement of analytics capabilities and enterprise reporting standards. Experience with Power BI, SQL and Azure is highly valued.

What will you do?

In this position you will play an integral part in a team of specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of projects - including significant infrastructure projects.

The Senior Analyst supports the delivery of trusted reporting, analytics, and data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Aurecon. Working closely with stakeholders, DA&ER delivery teams and the Enterprise Reporting & Insights Lead, the role translates business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

The role supports business analysis, data modelling, visualisation, testing, data quality, and user support activities, while contributing to data governance, reporting adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Below are some of the things you will be doing to support “bringing ideas to life”

• Work with the onshore Senior Data Analyst to support the delivery of reporting, analytics and data products. Partner closely with the Lead to execute visualisation initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, requirements definition, data modelling, testing, documentation, governance and continuous improvement priorities.
• Support the design, development and enhancement of reporting, analytics and visualisation solutions that provide trusted insights, improve business performance and align with enterprise standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of trusted data assets, reporting standards, business definitions and governance practices to ensure consistency, quality and confidence in Finance information.
• Support the validation, testing and reconciliation of reporting and analytics solutions to ensure data integrity, accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to business users on reporting, data sources, system-generated information and data quality issues, helping improve data literacy and adoption of enterprise reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge assets and standards while identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, analytics, data quality and business processes.
• Work collaboratively with Finance stakeholders, DA&ER delivery squads and the onshore Analytics team to support the successful delivery, adoption and ongoing optimisation of data and reporting solutions.

Aurecon is continuing to strengthen its data, reporting and AI capabilities through investment in enterprise data platforms and self-service analytics.

This role supports that journey by helping drive adoption of trusted reporting solutions, improving data quality and governance, and enabling stakeholders to confidently use data to support decision-making.

The role requires balancing business needs, data standards and user experience while working across multiple stakeholders, systems and delivery teams to support Aurecon's analytics and AI ambitions.

What can you bring to the team?

• Minimum 5 years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data management roles.
• Experience working in Agile or squad-based environments, partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting and analytics solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, business analysis, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. CA/CPA qualification and/or further education in Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence is advantageous.
• Experience delivering reporting, analytics, and visualization solutions using Power BI or similar platforms, with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power Query.
• Understanding of data modelling, KPI frameworks, reporting structures, data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices.
• Experience testing, validating, and reconciling reporting and analytics solutions, and supporting users with reporting, data interpretation, and source system queries.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and enterprise platforms such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Experience supporting Finance reporting and analytics within a complex corporate, professional services, or consulting environment.
