Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday HCM consultant to lead client engagements across deployment and post-production phases. You will define requirements, develop solutions, and deploy Workday processes while mentoring junior consultants.

The role requires active Workday certification, strong communication skills, and a background in HRIS. It offers opportunities to work with global teams and advance Workday expertise within the Cognizant delivery organization.

Qualifications

• Active Workday certification is required.
• Experience in Workday deployment, either in implementation or post-production.
• Certifications or experience in modules like PATT, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Reporting/Prism are highly desired.
• Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet client requirements.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent client communications and presentation skills are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR/HRIS or related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

About The Role

We are currently seeking a thought leader in Workday HCM space. In this role you will work with clients in all phases of deployment as well as post-production to assist with defining requirements, complete development, and deploy solutions. The Consultant typically reports to a Manager level position within the Delivery organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices
• Conduct sessions with clients to analyze business requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems
• Identify strategies, risks, and options for recommending approaches towards meeting requirements for post-production customers
• Become a Workday HCM expert with deep knowledge of core functionality and future product direction
• Mentor other consultants and actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice

Skills & Requirements

• Must have active Workday certification
• Workday experience supporting in an implementation or post-production support capacity
• Workday certifications or experience in the following modules such as PATT, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Reporting/Prism, highly desired
• Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet client requirements required
• Passion for exceptional customer service required
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage client expectations required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Human Resources Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
