Work you will do

As a globally recognized leader in consulting and Workday services, Deloitte’s Workday practice helps organization harness the value of Workday’s platform combined with human and financial capital to deliver services to help drive business impact.

As a Workday professional, you will be responsible for assessing the HR needs of their clients in designing, developing and integrating HCM software to meet those needs and testing and troubleshooting implemented software to find and resolve errors.

• Be a Workday Data expert with knowledge of the ETL process from design to implementation.
• Collaborate and guide clients to gather data requirements and map data sources into data conversion templates.
• Champion usage of Workday data load tools (EIB, Advanced Load, Object Transporter and Migration Recipe, etc.)
• Work with functional and integration stream to confirm and align that data requirements can support functional configuration and satisfy integration requirements.
• Create ETL scripts to transform and load data extracts into Workday.
• Own or support the end-to-end data migration process from legacy into Workday.
• Support data validation exercises by creating custom reports and resolving any data issues.
• Give advice on resolution, risk and impacts related to data conversion.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Must have active Workday Certification
• At least 5 years of overall experience in Workday with 2+ years of experience in Workday Data Conversion implementations (HCM and/or FIN)
• Proficient in creating Workday Reorts to support data validation exercises.
• Good understanding of other Workday modules (e.g. Core HCM, Compensation, Absence,Payroll, etc.)
• Knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL and/or C# (or other similar programming language) would be an advantage.
• Be open to learning and using ETL proprietary tool

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

• Experience in ETL tools( EIB, Advanced Load, other custom proprietary ETL tools)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
