AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. seeks a Workday Application Support - Payroll Configuration specialist to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

You will manage payroll configurations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain Workday environments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for clients and internal operations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Workday payroll configuration experience, strong knowledge of payroll regulations across jurisdictions, and a degree in IT/CS/Business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Workday payroll configuration and support (3+ years).
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Technical proficiency with Workday payroll modules and related functionality.
• Experience with system testing and quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with Philippine payroll requirements is advantageous.
• Workday certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain payroll components within Workday (pay groups, rates, deductions, tax settings).

About the role

We are seeking a Workday Application Support - Payroll Configuration specialist to join our growing team at AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will provide critical technical support and configuration expertise for our Workday payroll systems, ensuring seamless operations and optimal system performance. You will be responsible for managing payroll configurations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the integrity of our Workday environment. This position is strategically important to our organisation as it directly impacts our ability to deliver accurate, timely payroll processing for our clients and internal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain payroll components within the Workday system, including pay groups, pay rates, deductions, and tax settings
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for payroll-related issues and user inquiries
• Monitor payroll processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications
• Test payroll configurations and validate changes to ensure accuracy and system integrity
• Document configuration changes, processes, and solutions to support knowledge management and team collaboration

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience with Workday payroll configuration and support, ideally 3+ years in a similar role
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Technical proficiency with Workday’s payroll modules and related functionality
• Knowledge of payroll tax calculations, deductions, and benefits administration
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing effective solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience with system testing and quality assurance processes
• Familiarity with Philippine payroll requirements and regulations is highly advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Relevant Workday certifications are preferred
