Job summary

Aarav Infotech is seeking an experienced Web Application Support Engineer to maintain and enhance WordPress and CMS-based websites, ensuring security and performance for client projects.

You will monitor site health, troubleshoot issues, implement security practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable digital experiences.

This role requires at least 2 years of hands-on web support, strong WordPress skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in web application support or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with website back-ends, server administration and database management.
• Solid grasp of WordPress theme customization, plugin integration and security implementation.
• At least 10 WordPress projects delivered start-to-finish.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Electronics/Mathematics or related field or equivalent certification.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee website architecture and performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and run tests for improvements.
• Integrate and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Manage server and database integrations for back-end performance.
• Implement WordPress security practices including SSL configuration.
• Maintain client websites, perform updates, backups and security checks.
• Troubleshoot issues promptly and apply fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders; stay current with web technologies.
