Job summary

Bespoke Outsource Services is seeking a WordPress developer to manage development, maintenance, and enhancements of WordPress websites, ensuring security, responsiveness, and alignment with client requirements.

You will collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver projects on time, implement optimizations for speed, SEO, and performance, and stay updated with WordPress technologies to propose improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in WordPress development.
• Strong experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with custom themes and WordPress plugins.
• Experience with Elementor or Gutenberg page builders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Build responsive, user-friendly websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Convert approved designs into functional WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
• Optimise website speed, security, SEO, and overall performance.
• Perform website updates, backups, migrations, and deployments.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other business systems where required.
• Conduct testing to ensure website functionality and compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Provide ongoing website maintenance, technical support, and content updates.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow development best practices.

You will assist in all aspects of WordPress website development, maintenance, and digital solutions delivery, with responsibilities that may extend beyond those listed below. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure, responsive, and aligned with client requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions while contributing to continuous improvements in website performance and user experience. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
