Job summary

GECO Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Windows OS Administrator I to join the Technical Services – Cloud and Data Center team at Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines. You will support Windows Server administration, monitor performance, and resolve OS-related issues to ensure stable IT operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and customers, adherence to security policies, and documenting technical activities. A 1–2 year background in Windows Server administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Windows Server administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, system administration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze technical issues, identify potential risks, and recommend practical solutions.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and coordination with internal teams and customers.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities, and work in a team environment.
• Ability to work on a regular schedule, with flexibility for occasional shift changes when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of Windows Server operating systems to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor system performance, review operational data, and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve Windows OS-related issues to minimize service disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and customers to address technical concerns and support infrastructure-related activities.
• Assist in implementing team initiatives, operational improvements, and infrastructure projects.
• Follow established IT security policies, operational procedures, and access controls to protect company systems and data.
• Maintain accurate technical records and handle confidential operational information in accordance with company policies.
• Escalate complex issues and recommend appropriate solutions to the team lead when necessary.
