Job summary

Island Wind Energy seeks an Owner’s Representative to oversee electrical installations and control systems for a major wind farm. You will drive QA, inspect records, manage NCRs, and ensure compliance with international and local standards to support safe handover and commissioning.

You will lead safety focus, coordinate with utilities and authorities, and monitor progress against schedule, risk assessments, and design requirements.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering and a valid electrical engineering license.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction engineering experience in power/utility sectors.
• Experience with wind power projects and familiarity with Philippine Grid Code & international standards.
• Strong QA management, contract oversight, and safety leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner’s representative to oversee electrical installations per drawings, specs and standards.
• Review ITPs, test packages, contractor records, and NCRs to ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance across cabling, substations, and grid connection works.
• Coordinate with contractors, authorities, and internal teams to manage risks and progress.
• Review project QA plans and ensure timely handover and commissioning.
• Maintain NCR registers and QA documentation for audits and records.
