Job summary

HRTX is seeking a Welding Engineer to lead the development, standardization, and documentation of welding and brazing processes for high-precision components. You will design repeatable GTAW, LBW, EBW, and furnace procedures, write WPS and qualification reports, and support shop-floor operations.

The role requires hands-on welding procedure experience, strong metallurgy knowledge, and the ability to train manufacturing operators and customers on new standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding, Metallurgical, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of welding engineering or metal processing experience.
• Hands-on experience developing weld procedures for GTAW, LBW, EBW, or furnace processes.
• Strong stainless-steel metallurgy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop repeatable welding procedures using GTAW, LBW, EBW, and Brazing.
• Write and maintain Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and qualification reports.
• Troubleshoot welding defects, analyze process efficiency, and perform QC.
• Provide technical guidance and training to manufacturing operators and customers.
