Job summary

VTECH AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS CORP. is seeking a skilled welder and fabricator in the Philippines to prepare, assemble, and weld metal components to precise specifications. You will perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, welding certification or vocational training, and at least 2 years of welding and fabrication experience. TESDA eligibility is expected. Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and review drawings, double check measurements to understand the project requirements.
• Prepare materials, cut and shape metal to the correct dimensions.
• Set up components properly, line up and secure metal pieces using calipers, rulers, and clamps.
• Assemble and fit components, ensuring precise alignment.
• Use a welding torch or other equipment to melt and fuse the metal.
• Fill holes and fix seams in metal.
• Check and inspect the quality of the welds and look for flaws or defects.
• Record welding procedures, materials, and inspection results.
