Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and cutting lists to plan material requirements and workflow.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials (plate, tube, angle, structural steel) using templates, squares, and cutting tools.
• Operate plasma cutters, oxyfuel torches, band saws, and grinders to achieve precise dimensions.
• Align, tack weld, and assemble components ensuring dimensional accuracy before final welding.
• Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and Flux-core welding across steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet visual and structural quality standards.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, apply non-destructive testing (NDT), and repair defects.
• Operate press brakes, shears, rolls, and jigs/fixtures to bend, form, and assemble components.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including PPE use, safe rigging practices, and adherence to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

Key Responsibilities

• Material Preparation
