Job summary

Premier Heavy Equipment Inc. in Davao City is seeking a skilled welder for fabrication of equipment components, frames, and attachments.

The role involves interpreting blueprints, maintaining welding equipment, and ensuring weld quality through QA inspections. Candidates should have NC I/NC II welding certification and at least 3 years of experience in industrial or automotive welding, plus a valid driver’s license for both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC I or NC II in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (updated certification preferred).
• Must have a Driver’s License (know how to drive 4 wheels automatic and manual).
• With at least three (3) years of experience in industrial or automotive welding applications.
• Knowledge of welding symbols, blueprints, and metal properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication for equipment components, frames, and attachments.
• Assess damaged metal parts and determine the appropriate repair technique.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce accurate fabrications.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.
• Ensure all welds undergo visual and dimensional inspection in accordance with QA standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with fire safety and PPE protocols.
• Coordinate with mechanics for part alignment and equipment fit-up during assembly.
• Keep records of materials used and repairs conducted for each project.
• Accept and perform such other functions as maybe assigned by direct heads.

• Keep records of materials used and repairs conducted for each project. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned workplace.

• Accept and perform such other functions as maybe assigned by direct heads.
