Job description

What you'll be doing

• Performing various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and SMAW

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and welding specifications to understand project requirements

• Preparing metal surfaces through cutting, grinding and cleaning to ensure proper weld quality

• Inspecting completed welds for defects, cracks or inconsistencies and making necessary corrections

• Operating and maintaining welding equipment, torches and related tools in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

• Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment on site

• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards

• Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying and reporting potential equipment issues or safety hazards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Welder in a professional or industrial setting for a minimum of 2-3 years

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and SMAW

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications

• Competency in using precision measuring tools and conducting weld inspections

• Physical capability to work in standing positions for extended periods and lift heavy materials

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor control for precise work

• A valid welding certification such as NCII from TESDA

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality welds every time

• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices in the welding industry

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
