Job Overview
A welder is responsible for joining metal parts together using a variety of welding techniques. Their work typically involves reading blueprints or technical drawings to determine the specifications for the weld, preparing the materials to be welded, and selecting the appropriate welding method and equipment.
Welding and Fabrication
- Use welding techniques like MIG, TIG, Stick, and others to fuse metal pieces together.
- Repair or replace damaged metal components.
- Cut, grind, and shape metal parts before welding.
Blueprint Reading
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or welding symbols to determine where to weld and what techniques or tools to use.
Safety and Quality Control
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times, including wearing protective gear and using appropriate ventilation.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and consistency, and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Valid original barangay and police clearance.
- Good customer service skills is an edge.
- Detail-oriented, and good with customers.
- All genders are welcome.
- Trustworthy and with pleasing personality.
- 18 years old and above.
- High School Graduate, ALS, Senior/Junior High or HIGHER.
- With experience is a plus or w/o experience as long as willing to be trained.
- Can work shifting schedule, flexible hours including weekends or holiday.
- Physically fit.
