About the role

Amzen Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Quezon City,Metro Manila. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in the fabrication and maintenance of our high-quality industrial products.

What you'll be doing

1. Preheats and cleans metals: Lay out, cut, and fit materials for welding, selects proper welding heat and proper type and size of electrodes for correct penetration and strength of welded metals.

2. Maintains and makes minor repairs to welding equipment.

3. Sets up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers or grinders to produce precision parts and instruments.

4. Fabricates, modifies or repairs mechanical instruments.

5. Fabricates and modifies parts to make or repair machine tools.

6. Aligns and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

7. Determines methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.

8. Performs pumps base plate welding.

9. Mobilizes, prepares, and sets up tools and equipment for IFR installation.

10. Hauls of IFR materials from storage area to tank farm.

11. Inspect IFR parts and accessories from upper deck to underneath.

12. Housekeeping and pull out of tools and for any obstruction in preparation for IFR inspection.

13. Prepares for IFR floatation test & hydro testing at tank roof and water draining.

14. Final IFR inspection with the client.

15. Demobilize and pull out of tools and equipment.

16. Assist Sr. IFR Installer and follows suggestions/inputs from them.

17. Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

What we're looking for

• Must be a certified welder.

• Must be at least a high school graduate or vocational course graduate.

• Can easily understand instructions.

• Can read and interpret drawings/plans and take accurate measurements.

• Should preferably have experience in ANY of the following:

  • Structural welding

  • GMAW (MIG)

  • GTAW (TIG)

  • SMAW

  • Plasma or oxyacetylene welding processes

  • Sheet metal and steel plate fabrication, repair, and installation

• Willing to work within NCR and in customer sites within the Philippines

• Willing to stay at company quarters

• One (1) full-time position available
