Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Web Application Developer on the AI Development team. You will design and build intuitive, polished user interfaces for AI-powered apps, owning UX from concept to production.

You will wireframe, prototype, and contribute to a reusable design system while collaborating with developers and product owners to ensure feasibility and alignment with goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Experience building or contributing to a reusable component library or design system.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for AI-powered web applications, including chat interfaces, dashboards, forms, and data visualizations.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Establish and maintain a consistent design system (component library, style guides, UI patterns) for the AI Development team.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews to validate and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate closely with Full-Stack Developers, AI Developers, and Product Owners to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with product goals.

About this role

The UI/UX Developer on Insight's AI Development teamis responsible for designing and building intuitive, visually polished user interfaces for AI-powered applications. You will own the user experience from concept through implementation — creating wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready front-end code. Whether the project is a conversational AI agent, an internal dashboard, or an intelligent workflow tool, you will ensure that every interaction feels seamless and accessible to end users across Insight's enterprise.

What you’ll do in this role

What we’re looking for

• Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Design:Strong portfoliodemonstratinguser-centered design skills;proficiencywith design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• UX Methodology:Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Design Systems:Experience building or contributing to a reusablecomponentlibrary or design system.
• Communication:Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; ability to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration:Comfortable working in Agile teams and iterating based on feedback.
• Nice to Have:Experience designing conversational AI interfaces (chatbots, copilots); familiarity with data visualization or dashboard design.
