Job summary

Verdetech Environmental Sciences is seeking a Chemical Technician to perform chemical analyses of water, wastewater, and environmental samples while ensuring compliance with laboratory quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemistry-related fields and may prefer a Licensed Chemical Technician.

The successful candidate will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, prepare calibration solutions, and adhere to GLP and QA/QC

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry-related field is required.
Licensed Chemical Technician is preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience (wastewater/environmental) is preferred.
Knowledge of standard analytical methods for water and wastewater testing.
Proficient in laboratory documentation and report preparation.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willing to work on-site in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

Perform routine chemical analyses on water, wastewater, and environmental samples.
Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration solutions.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
Record, validate, and review analytical data.
Ensure proper sample preparation, handling, and storage.
Follow laboratory QA/QC procedures and GLP.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment, and inventory.
Assist in method validation and continuous improvement activities.
