Job summary

Verdetech Environmental Sciences is seeking a Chemical Technician to perform chemical analyses of water, wastewater, and environmental samples while ensuring compliance with laboratory quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemistry-related fields and may prefer a Licensed Chemical Technician.

The successful candidate will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, prepare calibration solutions, and adhere to GLP and QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry-related field is required.
• Licensed Chemical Technician is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience (wastewater/environmental) is preferred.
• Knowledge of standard analytical methods for water and wastewater testing.
• Proficient in laboratory documentation and report preparation.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work on-site in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

• Perform routine chemical analyses on water, wastewater, and environmental samples.

• Ensure proper sample preparation, handling, and storage.
• Follow laboratory QA/QC procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment, and inventory.
• Assist in method validation and continuous improvement activities.

• Experience in an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory is an advantage.
