Job summary

You will perform Balance of Plant calculations, optimize chemical dosing to adapt to changing water quality, and review equipment sizing such as lamella clarifiers, MF, activated carbon filters. You will also troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to keep plant operations reliable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process design for water treatment plants.
• Experience with Balance of Plant (BoP) calculations.
• Ability to optimize chemical dosing based on raw water quality.
• Experience reviewing equipment sizing such as lamella clarifiers, MF, activated carbon filters, and chlorination systems.
• Familiarity with diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in treatment plants.
• Creative thinker who can propose non-standard plant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Balance of Plant calculations for water treatment projects.
• Optimize chemical dosing based on varying raw water quality.
• Review and validate equipment sizing such as lamella clarifiers, microfiltration, and activated carbon filters.
• Analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in water treatment plants.
• Propose non-standard, innovative solutions to plant process or operation challenges.
