Job summary

TRC Inc. in Manila, Philippines, seeks an experienced process design engineer with 3+ years in water treatment plants, preferably working on surface water sources.

You will perform Balance of Plant calculations, optimize chemical dosing to adapt to changing water quality, and review equipment sizing such as lamella clarifiers, MF, activated carbon filters. You will also troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to keep plant operations reliable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process design for water treatment plants.
• Experience with Balance of Plant (BoP) calculations.
• Ability to optimize chemical dosing based on raw water quality.
• Experience reviewing equipment sizing such as lamella clarifiers, MF, activated carbon filters, and chlorination systems.
• Familiarity with diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in treatment plants.
• Creative thinker who can propose non-standard plant solutions.

2. Perform Balance of Plant (BoP) calculations
3. Optimize chemical dosing based on different raw water quality.
4. Review and validate equipment sizing such as: lamella clarifier, microfiltration, activated carbon filters, chlorination system, etc.
5. Knowledgeable in analyzing/solving mechanical and electrical issues in water treatment plants.
6. Can think out of box to come up with non-standard solutions to plant process or operation issues.
