Job summary

Qualifications

• Has at least 2 years’ experience in Water Treatment Plant operations.
• Graduate of a 4-year course; Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering is an advantage.
• Licensed Chemical Engineer is noted.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors all water treatment plant systems to ensure continuous good water quality.
• Regenerates units and backwashes filtration systems per SOPs.
• Maintains operation logs and reports to supervisor.
• Coordinates with control room for chemical deliveries and safety compliance.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and assists maintenance during servicing.
• Conducts water quality tests (pH, turbidity, conductivity) on samples.
• Adheres to 5S and ISO requirements and maintains housekeeping.
