Job summary

Trans World Trading Company, Incorporated is seeking an on-site Water Treatment Service Engineer to maintain water treatment systems, perform inspections, and support customers with operation and troubleshooting.

The role includes supervising technicians, conducting water analyses, and preparing reports while coordinating with Sales and Service teams for optimal system performance. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate in chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in water treatment, industrial maintenance or field service is an advantage.
• Knowledge of water treatment systems and industrial equipment is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; good communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of water treatment systems.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical assistance to customers on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to service requests promptly, including on-site support when needed.
• Conduct site surveys of boilers, cooling towers, chillers, and other water treatment assets.
• Perform on-site water analysis and jar testing as part of assessments.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and water analysis documentation.
• Present findings and recommend system adjustments or improvements.
• Supervise technicians during chemical cleaning projects.
• Oversee installation and setup of chemical feed pumps and drums.
• Train customers and site personnel on operation and daily maintenance.
• Support Sales with site assessments and water-treatment-related activities.
• Coordinate with Sales and Service on findings, performance, and actions.
• Follow safety, regulatory guidelines, and company procedures during fieldwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
