Job summary

Hydrosphere Environmental Corporation is seeking a Chemical Engineer to design, operate, and optimize water and wastewater treatment systems in the Philippines. You will conduct sampling, testing, and analysis, monitor dosing, and support project deployment on client sites.

Responsibilities include preparing engineering documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with environmental requirements. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Licensed Chemical Engineer preferred or required, depending on the role.
• Fresh graduates may be considered if licensed and willing to undergo training.
• Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, STP/WTP, or environmental projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of chemical dosing, water quality testing, and treatment processes.
• Good technical writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willing to work on-site and travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, operation, and troubleshooting of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Conduct water/wastewater sampling, testing, and analysis.
• Monitor chemical dosing and treatment processes.
• Conduct site inspections and assist in project implementation and commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, proposals, and other engineering documents.
• Monitor STP/WTP performance and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and site personnel.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with DENR, LLDA, and other applicable environmental requirements.
• Provide technical support for HEC's water treatment projects.
• Conduct site visits and be willing to travel when required.
• Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
