Job summary

Woodfields Consultants, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead hydrologic and hydraulic studies, stormwater design, and water quality assessments, based in Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Water Resource Management and Hydrology, with the ability to lead technical studies and design efforts.
• Strong experience in Stormwater and Stormwater Management, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and related modeling tools.
• Knowledge of Water Quality principles and practices, including assessment and mitigation measures for surface and stormwater systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; professional licensure (e.g., Registered Civil Engineer) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with relevant software (e.g., hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools, CAD, GIS) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and guide junior team members.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and present findings to diverse audiences.
• Experience in the Philippine regulatory environment and local design standards is an advantage.

Role Description The Senior Water Resources Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Quezon City. This position is responsible for leading and performing technical analyses related to water resources, including hydrologic and hydraulic studies, stormwater management design, and water quality assessments. Day-to-day tasks include developing engineering reports, designing stormwater and drainage systems, reviewing plans and calculations, and ensuring projects comply with local and national regulations. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and supporting client meetings and presentations.
