Job summary

Arconic Inc. is seeking a Warehouseman / Driver to receive, store, issue materials, and transport them safely between warehouses, suppliers, offices, and project sites in Metro Manila.

Requires 1–2 years in warehouse or logistics, a valid Professional Driver's License, and basic vehicle troubleshooting and computer skills. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, document deliveries, and ensure materials are secured during transit for safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required; vocational/college education advantageous.
• Preferably 1–2 years in warehouse, logistics, or delivery roles.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and verify materials delivered to the warehouse.
• Store, organize, label, and maintain materials by type and storage area.
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and release materials based on approved documents.
• Maintain records of materials received, issued, transferred, and returned.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and reconcile with records.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Drive company vehicles for delivery and transport of materials, tools, equipment, and documents.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and protection of transported materials.
• Maintain trip tickets, delivery receipts, fuel records, and vehicle documents.

Job description

Job Purpose

The Warehouseman / Driver is responsible for the proper receiving, handling, storage, inventory, issuance, and delivery of construction materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. The position is also responsible for driving company vehicles for official business and ensuring the safe and timely transportation of materials between warehouses, suppliers, offices, project sites, and other authorized locations. The position requires practical knowledge of construction materials, warehouse operations, vehicle operation, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and verify construction materials, supplies, tools, and equipment delivered to the warehouse

• Properly store, organize, label, and maintain construction materials according to their type, quantity, specifications, and designated storage area

• Assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials, tools, equipment, and other supplies

• Prepare and release materials based on approved Material Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Delivery Receipts, or other authorized documents

• Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, transferred, and returned

• Conduct regular physical inventory and assist in reconciling actual stocks with inventory records

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged materials, defective items, or discrepancies to the immediate supervisor

• Drive company-owned or authorized vehicles for the delivery and transportation of construction materials, tools, equipment, documents, and other company property

• Ensure that all transported materials are properly loaded, secured, and protected against damage or loss

• Maintain complete and accurate trip tickets, delivery receipts, fuel records, and other required vehicle documents

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate; vocational or college education is an advantage

• Preferably with at least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, construction supply, delivery, or a related field

Work Experience

• Preferably with at least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, construction supply, delivery, or a related field.

• Previous experience working in a construction company, warehouse, project site, or hardware/construction supply environment is an advantage.

License Requirements

• Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License

• Must be legally qualified to drive the type of vehicle assigned by the Company

• Must have a good understanding of Philippine traffic rules and road safety regulations

• Knowledgeable in construction materials, including basic identification, handling, storage, and use of common construction supplies

• Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory procedures

• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle troubleshooting and preventive checks

• Knowledge of proper loading, securing, transporting, and unloading of construction materials

• Basic computer skills are an advantage
