• Follow FIFO procedures where applicable.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and stock checking.
• Report damaged, missing, excess, or incorrect products to supervisor.

Job Summary

The Warehouseman is responsible for the proper handling, receiving, storing, picking, and movement of products within the warehouse. The position ensures that products are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory and an organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming products.

• Pick and prepare products based on Pick Lists, Delivery Receipts, Transfer Slips, and other authorized documents.

• Ensure the correct item, quantity, description, and condition of products before movement or dispatch.

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and assist in transferring stocks within the warehouse.

• Arrange and store products properly to maximize warehouse space.

• Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures where applicable.

• Assist in physical inventory counts and stock checking.

• Report damaged, missing, excess, or incorrect products immediately to the Warehouse In-Charge or assigned supervisor.

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse.

• Properly handle construction, hardware, and industrial products to prevent damage or loss.

• Assist with stock transfers, replenishment, and other warehouse activities as assigned.

• Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouseman, Picker, Helper, or similar warehouse position is preferred but not required.

• Experience in hardware, construction materials, industrial supplies, or wholesale/retail operations is an advantage.

• Willing to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks.

• Must be attentive to details and able to follow instructions.
