Abenson Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory management, and lead a team of staff to meet receiving, storage and picking targets.
You will enforce safety standards, monitor KPIs, coordinate workflow, train personnel, and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is efficiently and accurately managed, and leading a team of warehouse staff. This role ensures that all warehouse processes are executed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and operational goals.
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing and picking of goods
Ensure adherence to operational procedures and standards to maximize efficiency and productivity
Coordinate and oversee the workflow within the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Lead and manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Provide guidance and support to team members to promote a positive and productive work environment
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including regular stock counts and audits
Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions to promote compliance with health and safety standards
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for the Warehouse Manager
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or any related courses
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in warehouse management software
Knowledge of safety regulations and inventory management practices
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to lift and move heavy items, occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
