Warehouse Supervisor - Cold Chain
The Warehouse Supervisor serves as the link between the Commercial/Brand teams and the Cold Chain Operations team. It is responsible for the overall operations of the cold chain facility, ensuring proper handling, receiving, storage, and dispatch of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cold Chain facility.
- Ensure all deliveries from principals and suppliers are properly received, stored, handled, and recorded according to company guidelines.
- Monitor TPA staff and ensure proper work procedures, training, and guidelines are followed.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (Q&A) team to ensure their presence during receiving and timely completion of receiving reports.
- Ensure all products for outbound delivery are properly picked, checked, and prepared for dispatch.
- Monitor and properly handle loose, damaged, or dented products and ensure these are reported with clear action plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures and recommend operational changes when needed.
- Coordinate with the Commercial/Brand teams and other concerned departments to ensure smooth cold chain operations.
- Ensure proper inventory and stock handling within the facility.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry and a solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle Food / Non-food / frozen / Chilled Category
