Job summary

• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to liaise across departments and manage multiple tasks
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is advantageous

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the CENTURY CONTAINER CORPORATION team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, safe and compliant operation of our warehouse facilities. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing team performance, and maintaining the highest standards of inventory management and safety. This role is integral to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating warehouse staff to ensure all daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Managing inventory levels, monitoring stock movements and conducting regular stock audits to maintain accuracy
• Overseeing receiving, storage and dispatch of goods in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations
• Training, mentoring and evaluating warehouse team members to ensure consistent performance and professional development
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety standards in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Monitoring and controlling warehouse expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Preparing and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation, reports and records

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years' experience in warehouse operations or a similar logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency with inventory control software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, train and manage a diverse team
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and work in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of lean warehouse practices or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is advantage
