Job summary

IGLOO Supply Chain Philippines. Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, oversee staff, and ensure safe, efficient handling of goods in a cold storage environment.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound plans, manage inventory accuracy, conduct KPI reviews, and enforce GMP and safety standards while controlling costs and maintaining high service levels. This role requires strong leadership, time management, and the ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong working knowledge in warehouse operations and management.
• Experience as a warehouse supervisor in Cold Storage or in a related industry.
• Experience in facilitating quality, food safety, environment, health and safety trainings.
• Time management and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Evaluating reports on warehouse productivity.
• Coordinating inbound/outbound plans and schedules; handling special instruction requirements.
• Preparing manpower schedules.
• Daily housekeeping inspections and ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Coordinating and maintaining MHE equipment; conducting KPI audits.
• Managing loading bay activities to ensure timely receiving and issuing.
• Ensuring vehicles and equipment are clean and well-maintained before use.
• Implementing warehouse policies and controls with cost-consciousness.
• Aligning warehouse efforts toward company targets.
• Ensuring FIFO issuance and accurate stock movements.
• Maintaining up-to-date inventory of warehouse materials and data accuracy.
• Ensuring proper stock location and arrangement
• Preparing personnel evaluations and cost reduction plans.

1. External Qualifications

a. Education

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/ College Degree
• Strong working knowledge in warehouse operations and management
• With time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• With experience as a warehouse supervisor in Cold Storage or with same industry

1. Responsibilities:

a. Warehouse Activity

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating reports on warehouse productivity.
• Coordinates with concerned parties on the inbound / outbound plan, timetables, special instruction requirements and related activity.
• Prepare manpower schedule.
• Performs daily inspection on the warehouse ground to ensure proper housekeeping.
• Ensures basic maintenance standard and compliance with health and safety regulation.
• Coordinating and maintaining MHE equipment.
• Conducts performance audits: KPIs.
• Managing the activity at the loading bay to ensure timely receiving and issuance.
• Ensures that route trucks, reefer vans and delivery trucks are in good condition, well cleaned and sanitized before use.
• Ensures that Warehouse policies, procedures and controls are implemented and adhered to.
• Manages warehouse operations at the least cost possible without compromising quality of service.
• Aligns Warehouse’s efforts towards achieving the company’s targets.

b. Inventory Activity

• Ensures that First-In-First-Out issuance is being followed.
• Ensures that all stock movements are properly documented.
• Ensures that inventory counts are taken regularly and that reports are submitted promptly.
• Explains cause of inventory variances, if any.
• Prepares the monthly expense report. Explains variances, if any.
• Prepares a monthly KPI report. Explains variances, if any.
• Keeps an up-to-date inventory of warehouse materials such as crates, pallets, pallet wrap films, others.
• Ensures the accuracy of data generated by the warehouse.
• Ensures that stocks are properly located and arranged.

c. Administrative

• Prepares Personnel Evaluation Reports.
• Prepares cost reduction plans.
• Monitors staff’s work progress to determine their strengths and weaknesses, to reinforce and help them attain their goals.
• Recommends for upgrading or termination of deserving staff.
• Leads in monitoring and investigating anomalous activities such as pilferage, eating of stocks, connivance to steal between trucker and Warehouse personnel, others.
• Ensures that GMP and Safety procedures are implemented and adhered to.
• Ensures fast and efficient quality service to external and internal clients.
• Ensures productivity maximization of personnel and utilities.
• Ensures that the highest quality of service is always performed .
