The Warehouse Supervisor at South Sky Dragon Wellness Corp. will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and goods movement while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team, manage inventory accuracy using WMS/ERP, implement process improvements, and coordinate with Purchasing, Fulfillment, and Logistics to support efficient distribution in Laguna, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years in warehouse operations.
• 5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in e-commerce/high-volume warehouse environments preferred.
• Experience with warehouse teams and inventory control processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, replenishment, and movements.
• Supervise staff; assign schedules and tasks; coach and train.
• Monitor inventory accuracy; perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Enforce 5S, safety policies, and OSH standards; ensure equipment is used safely.
• Develop and update SOPs; monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
• Prepare reports: daily operations, receiving, inventory variance, cycle counts, aging, damages, KPI dashboard.

BASIC FUNCTION

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, replenishment, and movement of goods within the warehouse. The role ensures inventory accuracy, proper warehouse organization, compliance with safety standards, and efficient utilization of warehouse resources. The Warehouse Supervisor leads warehouse personnel, monitors operational performance, implements process improvements, and ensures compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, unloading, inspection, put-away, storage, replenishment, internal stock movements, and returns processing.
• Ensure all incoming products are received accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor warehouse workflow and assign manpower based on operational requirements.
• Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Fulfillment, Logistics, and other departments regarding inventory movement and warehouse requirements.
• Ensure products are stored properly to maintain product quality and prevent loss or damage.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and implement operational improvements to achieve departmental objectives.

2. Inventory Management

• Ensure inventory accuracy through proper receiving, storage, movement, and issuance of products.
• Supervise daily cycle counts and scheduled physical inventory activities.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor stock aging, slow-moving items, damaged products, and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control methods such as FIFO, FEFO, or other applicable inventory practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.
• Ensure timely updating of inventory transactions.

3. Warehouse Organization and Materials Handling

• Ensure warehouse locations are properly organized, labeled, and maintained.
• Monitor housekeeping activities and maintain warehouse cleanliness following 5S principles.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of products to minimize damages.
• Monitor warehouse equipment utilization and coordinate preventive maintenance when necessary.
• Ensure storage conditions comply with product handling requirements.

4. Team Leadership and People Management

• Supervise warehouse staff and warehouse associates.
• Assign daily work schedules and operational tasks.
• Conduct coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and work quality.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Recommend promotions, disciplinary actions, and employee development plans.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

5. Quality Assurance

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with company quality standards and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor receiving accuracy and proper inventory handling.
• Investigate inventory-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure products are properly handled to prevent losses, damages, and inventory discrepancies.

6. Safety, Security, and Compliance

• Enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections.
• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is used properly and safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S principles.
• Safeguard company assets and inventory against loss, theft, or unauthorized access.

7. Process Improvement

• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in warehouse optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in implementing warehouse technologies and system enhancements.
• Develop, review, and update warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvement plans.

8. Reporting

• Prepare and submit reports including:
• Daily warehouse operations report
• Receiving report
• Inventory variance report
• Cycle count and physical inventory reports
• Inventory aging report
• Damaged and obsolete inventory report
• Warehouse productivity report
• Safety incident report
• Warehouse KPI dashboard

REQUIREMENTS /QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or any related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in an e-commerce, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environment is preferred.
• Experience managing warehouse teams and inventory control processes is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Warehouse Operations, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP Systems, Supply Chain and Logistics, Microsoft Office (particularly excel), 5S and Warehouse Organization, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement methodologies.
