Job summary

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a full-time role in our cold storage and distribution facility. You will lead daily operations, manage staff performance, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee inventory control, coordinate shipments, and drive process improvements while maintaining high service levels for clients in a demanding cold storage environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and distribution processes.
• Experience in cold storage or temperature-controlled environments.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Excellent cross-department communication; HACCP knowledge advantageous.
• Proficiency with WMS and basic MS Office.
• Organisational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to work in cold storage and operate equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to operate forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of products in the cold storage facility.
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and safety supervision.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records, conducting regular reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to cold storage operations and food safety regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and report issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and warehouse policies for efficiency and safety.
• Liaise with clients, logistics partners, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, processing times, and labour productivity.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain warehouse standards and regulatory compliance.
• Report on warehouse performance metrics and identify process improvements.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join BENSON INDUSTRIAL COLD STORAGE INC. in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead and oversee warehouse operations within our cold storage and distribution facility. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse operations whilst managing staff performance and maintaining service excellence for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of products in the cold storage facility
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and safety supervision
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records, conducting regular reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, particularly relevant to cold storage operations and food safety regulations
• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, including cold storage units, forklifts, and handling equipment, and report maintenance issues promptly
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and warehouse policies to maintain efficiency and safety
• Liaise with clients, logistics partners, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve operational issues
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, processing times, and labour productivity
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain warehouse standards and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Report on warehouse performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or warehouse management within a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and distribution processes
• Experience in cold storage or temperature-controlled warehouse operations is highly desirable
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
• Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements relevant to warehousing and food storage (HACCP certification or equivalent is advantageous)
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills, including MS Office applications
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and work in cold storage environments
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Knowledge of Metro Manila logistics and distribution networks is preferred
