Responsibilities:
- Administers directly the warehousing and logistic activities.
- Supervises the receipt of all manufactured and purchased inventoriable items, both raw materials & finished goods, local & imported. Ensures that existing procedures and policies on documentation, counting, tagging and quality inspection are consistently followed.
- Ensures optimum utilization of existing warehouse spaces and proper upkeep of the warehouse facilities and equipments.
- Ensures that existing procedures and policies are followed for all stock withdrawals and transfers. Due diligence must be observed to ensure that all issued stocks are in good condition and refers possible exceptions to QC or to the concerned person/s for checking.
- Supervises the maintenance of updated inventory records for all warehouses. Ensures that periodic validations of records versus actual inventory are consistently performed. Refer all exceptions to the concerned person/s.
- Monitors the compliance with First in First out (FIFO) policy for all stock issuance. Implement a system to handle all stock withdrawals, transfers and requisitions on a timely and efficient manner. Recommends possible improvements to superior.
- Monitors that each inventory item stays within the predetermined stock level. Immediately alerts superior or the concerned person/s once the buffer stock has been reached. In coordination with superior and Purchasing Section, provides inputs in the periodic determination of appropriate buffer stock level for all inventories.
- In coordination with Accounting, ensures an organized periodic physical inventory and prompt resolution of resulting variances.
- Ensures that the warehouses are kept clean and organized and stocks are properly stored and rotated to avoid early production deterioration. Request for QC’s inspection for items nearing shelf life or stocks showing some signs of quality deterioration.
- Supervises all warehouse transfers and ensures efficient utilization of warehouse trucks.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a college graduate of any business course.
- 3-5 years experience as Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor.
- Results driven with excellent time management skills.
- Hard working, persistent, assertive, keen to details, organized and focus.
- Ability to work under pressure and can easily adopt to a fast-paced working environment.
