Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead staff, and ensure inventory accuracy and safety compliance. The role focuses on optimizing processes, maintaining records, and coordinating with logistics, sales and QA to support timely deliveries.

Candidates should have 3+ years in a supervisory warehouse role, strong WMS skills, and a proven ability to motivate teams while upholding safety standards. FMCG experience is a plus AND on-site work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and inventory management.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff with safety focus.
• Experience in FMCG/food industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluation and disciplinary actions as required.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular stock counts and system reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse facility.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for warehouse efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to optimise warehouse layout, processes and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments and receipts.
• Communicate effectively with other departments including logistics, sales and quality assurance.
• Report on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities.
