• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, safety practices, and inventory management systems.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficient in data entry, inventory management software, and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving inventory when required.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Security & Operations: Ensure the warehouse is secure and complies with company standards for safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Supervision: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including managing team performance, meeting operational standards, and ensuring a high level of productivity and safety.
• System Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for improvement in warehouse systems, processes, and procedures, and supervise the implementation of necessary changes.
• Inventory Management: Schedule and coordinate the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse to meet inventory needs. Collaborate with related departments to ensure proper inventory transfers.
• Storage Area Maintenance: Maintain the organization of the storage area by adhering to storage design principles. Ensure the warehouse layout supports operational efficiency and safety.
• Recommendations & Process Enhancements: Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and recommend improvements for better performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory Control: Conduct monthly physical inventory counts, reconcile variances, and input data into inventory management systems to ensure accuracy.
• Data Input & Reporting: Accurately input inventory data and report discrepancies or issues as necessary.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties/functions as assigned by the company from time to time.
