Job summary

DREX-CHEMGROUP is seeking a Material Handler based in Tuas, Singapore. The role covers warehouse operations including goods handling, inventory management and equipment maintenance.

You will load/unload goods, assist in outgoing/incoming preparations, manage inventories and perform forklift checks. Required are GCE O/N level with English credit, a valid forklift licence, and computer literacy with Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• GCE 'O' or 'N' level with credit in English.
• Valid Forklift licence.
• Accuracy in numbers.
• Computer literate, familiar with Excel and Words.
• Able to lift bulky and heavy objects as necessary.
• Able to interact well with Colleagues.
• At least 1 year working Experience in the Warehouse/Store environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of goods
• Assist in preparations for outgoing and incoming of goods
• Perform inventory control of goods
• Assist in repackaging
• Conduct daily check and maintenance of forklift
• Conduct routine inspections in the Warehouse to ensure goods are fit for storage
• Apply and affix the required regulatory labels (such as "Poison" for relevant goods)
• Maintain good housekeeping in the Warehouse
• Ensure and maintain high level of safety practices in the Warehouse
