Job summary

ATLANTIC GRAINS INC. is seeking a warehouse operative in Cebu City to load and verify items on trucks, issue stock per orders, and maintain accurate records.

The role includes forklift operation with proper authorization and adherence to GMP/GWP and food safety standards. The successful candidate should hold a 4-year degree and have at least 2 years in warehouse operations, preferably in milling or food industries.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in engineering, accounting, business, commerce, or information technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operation; background in milling or food-related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and verify items on trucks per the Pick List, ensuring accurate descriptions, quantities, conditions, and production dates.
• Issue Pack-Add items per customer orders or internal requests, with complete documentation.
• Verify inbound/outbound stocks against documents; store items in designated areas and report discrepancies.
• Apply FIFO for packaging and FEFO for additives; rotate stock and monitor material conditions; report concerns.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and reconcile inventory records; provide support during MBWA and other shifts as needed.
• Operate forklift during shortages or urgent situations with proper authorization.
• Prepare required reports and ensure GMP/GWP and food safety standards are upheld.

Job description

• Checks and loads items onto trucks based on the Pick List, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, quantities, conditions, and production dates while following outbound and safety procedures. Reports any issues or discrepancies, coordinates with the warehouse team and other departments, and operates a forklift when needed with proper authorization.

• Accurately issues Pack-Add items based on customer orders or internal requests, and ensures all stock withdrawals are properly documented and supported with complete records.

• Verifies delivered Pack-Add stocks against documents, prepares inbound records, and stores items in assigned areas. Coordinates with personnel for proper stacking, quality checks, and disposition of materials, and reports any discrepancies during receiving to the immediate superior.

• Applies FIFO for packaging and finished goods and FEFO for additives, performs stock rotations, monitors material conditions, and reports concerns. Assists in resolving customer complaints, reconciles inventory records, and temporarily supports roles such as weighbridge operator or ticket checker. Prepares required reports, documents cleaning activities, and acts as roving personnel during MBWA. Upholds company policies, GMP/GWP, and food safety standards while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement.

• Operate a forklift during manpower shortages or urgent situations, ensuring proper authorization.

• Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in engineering, accounting, business-related, commerce, or information technology.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operation. Preferably, with a background in plant operations, particularly in the milling industry or any food-related industry.
