Job summary

Fabtech Export Industries, Inc. in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a Warehouse Assistant (Steel) to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials for the NSCR Steel Walkway Project.

You will ensure accurate recording and safe storage to support production and project delivery. You will verify deliveries against POs, maintain inventory records, and coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and QA/QC to ensure timely material movements.

Qualifications

• Senior High School graduate; vocational/college degree is an advantage.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse documentation is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Physically fit and able to handle warehouse operations, including lifting and moving materials.
• Honest, organised, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• NCII Forklifting Certificate (Required).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Verify delivered items against purchase orders, delivery receipts, and packing lists.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure proper storage and easy retrieval of materials.
• Prepare and issue materials based on approved material requests.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged materials to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse logs and reports.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and QA/QC regarding material movements and deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with company safety policies.

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant (Steel) is responsible for the proper receiving, storage, handling, issuance, and inventory control of materials and equipment for the NSCR Steel Walkway Project.
