A Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the storage, distribution, and transportation of goods in a supply chain. This role ensures efficient warehouse operations while optimizing logistics for timely deliveries and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
• Certifications in logistics and supply chain management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Six Sigma, or OSHA certification for safety).
• 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in inventory control, shipping, receiving, and distribution.
• Knowledge of warehouse automation, transportation management, and ERP/WMS software.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Knowledge of inventory management techniques (FIFO, LIFO, JIT, etc.).
• Understanding of logistics planning, routing, and transportation regulations.
• Ability to optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
