• Inform guests about special items and menu changes if any.
• Suggest food and beverages to the guest and upsell.
• Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or handheld POS system and ensure special requirements are entered.
• Accept payments and return the change.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Be a team player to ensure smooth operations.
• Serve food and beverage to the guest.
• Promptly respond to the guests needs.
• Properly open and pour wine for the guest.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently as set by the Company.
• Understand and communicate products and services available at the restaurant.
• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and handling inquiries.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Follow the schedule, task and other responsibilities assigned to you.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by your superior.
