Job summary

East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) invites an experienced executive to lead the Corporate Strategy & Investments function from BGC, Taguig. The Head will deliver data-driven strategic recommendations aligned with shareholder value, integrated into ICAAP and risk appetite frameworks, reporting to the Board and ALCO.

The role focuses on guiding capital investments, partnerships, and strategic partnerships, while fostering a high-performance team and operational excellence in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience with AI-driven market intelligence tools and data analytics.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and business case development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual strategic planning processes, facilitating strategy workshops with senior management, and producing the bank's 3–5-year strategic plan for Board approval.
• Produce quarterly or semi-annual industry and sectoral economic and scenario-based outlooks.
• Evaluate M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, fintech collaborations, and review major capital investments.
• Produce competitive intelligence reports through gathered insights on industry trends, regulatory developments, technology disruptions, and competitors.
