Job summary

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in the Philippines is seeking a Vocational School Superintendent I for the Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades (PSAT) in TESDA Region I. The role supervises policy formulation, program administration, budget planning, and community/industry engagement.

Education must include a Master’s degree or CSC Leadership and Management certification, with at least four years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulates, executes, directs, organizes and administers school policies.
• Administers the technical vocational training programs per TESDA regulations.
• Directs policy improvement and revision planning and execution.
• Recommends appointments and promotions; reports on conditions under supervision.
• Prepares annual budget proposals and reports under supervision.
• Plans, directs conferences, seminars, and in-service training activities.
• Maintains public relations with the community and industry contracts; visits projects.
• Rates and evaluates performance of school personnel.
• Administers income generating projects.
• Checks compliance with circular requirements and implements work improvements.
• Performs other related functions as authorized.

POSITION: VOCATIONAL SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT I

OFFICE: PANGASINAN SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES (PSAT), TESDA REGION I

SALARY: SG-25 (PhP 116,643.00)PERA: P2,000.00 RATA: P10,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• 25 % - Formulates, executes, directs, organizes and administers school policies;
• 20 % - Administers the technical vocational training programs in accordance with TESDA regulations;
• 15 % - Directs the preparation and execution and plans, improvements and/or revision of school policies.
• 5 % - Recommends appointment, promotion, reports on conditions and activities under his/her administrative supervision;
• 5 % - Prepares annual budget proposal, reports on conditions and activities under his/her administrative supervision;
• 5 % - Plans, directs, conferences, seminars, and in-service training activities;
• 5 % - Maintains public relations with his/her community and makes industry and community contracts. Visits and suggest improvements of community extension projects in the surrounding areas of the school under his/her jurisdiction.
• 5 % - Rates and evaluates performance of school personnel;
• 5 % - Administers income generating projects;
• 5 % - Checks compliance and implementation of circular requirements, evaluates and recommends changes for work improvements;
• 5 % - Perform other related functions as authorized.
