Job summary

LUXASIA is seeking a Visual Merchandising Partner to lead regional VM guidelines, support launches, and coordinate in-store displays across multiple brands. The role requires strong design and project management skills and experience in fashion, beauty, or luxury retail.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Retail and Training teams, manage assets and vendor relationships, and ensure brand consistency in-store. This is a full-time, on-site position in a dynamic regional team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, Industrial Design or related field.
  • Formal training in Graphic Design, Exhibition Design, or Visual Merchandising is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in visual merchandising, preferably in beauty, luxury, or retail.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp and Excel for design and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic VM planning and execution across assigned brands.
  • Coordinate store design layouts, renders and POS visuals.
  • Ensure stores display correct visuals during campaigns and seasons.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Retail and Training teams on campaigns.
  • Submit monthly store photos showing VM guideline adherence.
  • Maintain documentation of VM assets, reports and visuals.

Requirements

A Visual Merchandising Partner handles specific tasks /aspects of Visual Merchandising for various assigned LUXASIA brands and work closely with Marketing, Retail, and Training of specific brands and report directly to the VM Manager

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic VM Planning and Execution
  • Per assigned brand division, assist in implementing regional VM guidelines into local market execution, ensuring brand consistency across stores.
  • Support the preparation and rollout of new launches, monthly initiatives, trade animations, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate the distribution, delivery, and installation of merchandising elements in all channels.
  • Help monitor and track VM budgets, ensuring that all expenses are properly documented.
  • Assist in coordinating ingress and egress schedules with mall management and suppliers.
  • Ensure VM standards are met with high-level attention to detail.
2. Store Design & Development
  • Support the preparation of design layouts, renderings, and technical drawings for counters, displays, and other VM projects.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers and vendors for production, delivery, and installation of point-of-sale materials.
  • Render 3D perspective of applicable designs (small animations 5-12 sqm shop in shop etc.)
  • Render, resize and handle production and installation of all visuals applicable to certain brands
  • Ensure all stores are displaying the correct visuals during the right period
  • Assist on ad hoc visual simulations
3. Brand & Store Maintenance
  • Conduct regular store checks and assist in VM audits to assess overall store presentation.
  • Monitor the condition of merchandising elements and assist in coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.
4. Collaboration & Administrative Support
  • Submit monthly store pictures that show all VM guidelines are being followed correctly.
  • Submit ad hoc figures requested by Regional. Example - Excel file template asking for number of each type of furniture per store, how many quantities forecasted for particular merchandising element, etc.
  • Database of all the brands applicable - graphics, modules, risers, props etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail, and Training teams to support campaign implementations.
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the VM Team.
  • Maintain proper documentation of VM assets, reports, and visuals.
Job Specifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Formal training in Graphic Design, Exhibition Design, or Visual Merchandising is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the beauty, luxury, or retail industry.
  • Proven experience in handling end-to-end VM projects (design, production, installation, and reporting).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to fast-paced retail environments.
