Job summary

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation seeks a Vehicle Logistics Safety & Quality Engineer to join the Vehicle Logistics Department at the Batangas City center. You will lead improvements, conduct audits, and ensure quality from production to delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience and strong SAP/Power BI skills. Willingness to be based in Batangas City is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor quality controls to prevent vehicle damage from production to delivery.
• Conduct route audits, root cause analyses, hazard and risk assessments, and training programs.
• Monitor project performance and submit regular progress reports to management and regional office.
• Develop feasibility studies and present recommendations and benefits to management.

Toyota Motor Philippines is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Safety & Quality Engineer to join our Vehicle Logistics Department located at the Toyota Batangas Vehicle Center in Batangas City, Philippines.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Lead process improvement initiatives using Toyota Vehicle Delivery Standards, Lean Principles, Digitalization, and Kaizen Methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional working groups with Internal Teams and Logistics Service Providers to ensure timely project implementation.
• Develop and monitor Quality Control measures to prevent vehicle damage from production through customer delivery.
• Conduct route audits, root cause analyses, hazard and risk assessments, and relevant Training Programs.
• Monitor Project Performance and submit Regular Progress Reports to Management and the Toyota Regional Office.
• Develop feasibility studies and present project recommendations and benefits to Management.

• Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems, with an interest in digitalization and office automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
• Experienced in managing outsourced third-party logistics operations and evaluating 3PL performance metrics.
• Possesses strong communication and coordination skills.
• Has at least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
• A tenacious and collaborative team player.
• Willing to be assigned in Batangas City.
