Job summary

Deutsche Bank Manila seeks a Valuations Specialist/Analyst at Associate/Senior Analyst/Analyst level within the Market and Valuations Risk Management (MVRM) group. The role focuses on Market Conformity Control, Exotic Trade Review, and Technical Valuations using Python-based solutions and ML techniques.

You will design data pipelines, validate complex trades, and collaborate with quantitative analysts to deliver robust valuation controls and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, finance or accounting with strong quantitative skills.
• Professional qualifications (CIMA, CPA, CFA, FRM) are a plus.
• Master’s degree is an advantage for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Market Conformity Controller identifies and escalates off-market exceptions to Front Office and other control functions.
• Exotic Trade Reviewer ensures key terms of exotic trades are represented in trade bookings.
• Identify and highlight control gaps with 1st line of defence stakeholders.
• Regularly review used methodologies in a dynamic market environment.
• Participate in change initiatives with Technology and Strats teams.
• Proactively identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement.
